Blood Sun Vendetta (BSV) will be a fan-made motion-comic series. The David Production JJBA, Part 4: Diamond is Unbreakable animated series serves as the inspiration of style and direction. Though animation will be limited, due to BSV being a motion-comic.

Episodes will feature sound effects, music, and voice acting, as opposed to the common motion-comic standard of word-bubbles. This will also allow the project to be dubbed fairly easily, which is the plan: to release episodes both with and without dialogue tracks.

While the story and characters are original (with a few cameos and references from the original series), the story does take place in Hirohiko Araki's world of JoJo's Bizarre Adventures, and so with respect to the original author and the production companies producing the series in print, animation, and motion pictures, I will not be monetizing videos. I would also strongly urge those who choose to localize (dub in their own native language) the episodes, that they too do not monetize the videos.

In January of 2018, I took a roadtrip across Mexico. I felt it was important to experience a sample of what the characters would have to endure. Along with my buddy Gerardo (aka Nevarky), we spent 8 days driving from San Luis Potosi to Cancun. A little over a week certainly wasn't enough to absorb all that I wished to learn from the culture and country, however it was invaluable.

Everyday we woke before sunrise (usually around 3 or 4am), drove 5 to 8 hours to our next location, took as many photos as we could before nightfall, then passed out. Needless to say, I'd love to return and visit the locations with more time.

Black Hole Sun is the humanoid stand of Jose Hijo de Caballo. From the beginning, it's clear that Black Hole Sun is a more independent stand (in the vein of Echoes or Surface), and it's also clear that Jose doesn't treat his stand very kindly.

Without giving away spoilers, the core of Jose's resentment comes from his hatred for his father (Hol Horse), who he blames for his mother's death. Jose sees BHS as a bitter reminder of his father.

As a child, Jose's mother (before her death) would often recount how his father had special powers, something she knew Jose had inherited.

Jose has spent his whole life distancing himself from his stand and also parts of his personality. From a young age, Jose has been filled with bitterness and bent on revenge. Putting aside things like humor, wonder, generosity, and kindness.

Jose is essentially a self-imposed edgelord. But the truth is, he's just a kid. So BHS, being distanced from Jose but still a representation of his soul, shows the qualities that Jose tries to bottle up.

It's not a matter of having a "split personality". It's not like Jose is evil and BHS is good. BHS just expresses elements of Jose's personality that Jose attempts to hide.

But as Jose eventually learns to accept his power, as he becomes a more whole person, not only does Black Hole Sun become more powerful, but he becomes less independent, and more of an extension of Jose.

(Below is a non-canon short comic to get an idea of their relationship.)
